Arrive in Shiga Kogen today, one of Japan's most historic and pristine resort locations. With over 70 lifts, ropeways and gondolas to explore the valley, Shiga is the largest ski resort in Asia.
After arriving at your accommodation, settle in and relax or take the afternoon to have a look around Shiga Kogen. If you want to hit the slopes early the next day its a good chance to organise your rental gear.
Non Consecutive 4 Day Pass
The Shiga Kogen Ski Area consists of 19 ski areas combined making it the largest combined ski area in all of Asia. The area was founded as a ski resort so there is no main village or town but small groups of hotels that border the ski fields making Shiga Kogen a prime ski in and ski out destination.
Yakebitaiyama is the largest single ski area and possesses 5 lifts including 2 gondolas. Lift tickets are valid for all 18 ski areas.
