The charming town and sprawling ski area of Breckenridge boats some of the most diverse terrain and vibrant apres-ski scenes in North America. Breckenridge spans five towering peaks and has 35 lifts including the iconic BreckConnect Gondola, which whisks visitors from the historic town up to the snow-covered slopes. 

 

The terrain at Breckenridge caters to all levels with a remarkable 187 runs across 2,908 acres of terrain. From gentle and groomed runs perfect for beginners to challenging expert trails and thrilling terrain parks, Breckenridge has something for every skier and snowboarder. Peak 10's steeps and moguls provide a heart-pounding adventure for advanced riders, while Peak 6's mountain bowls offer breathtaking views and plenty of powder! The wide variety and size of the terrain ensure that there is always new runs to discover and fresh powder ready to be found. 

 

Beyond the slopes, Breckenridge's dining and nightlife scenes are equally enticing. The town has plenty cosy pubs, lively bars and gourmet restaurants that cater to all tastes. After a day on the mountain, unwind with a craft beer at Breckenridge Brewery or savour a fine dining experience at the Hearthstone Restaurant, famous for its elegant cuisine and historic charm. For the partiers, Cecilia's Nightclub & Bar offers an electric atmosphere with music and dancing that keep the energy high long into the night. 

 

Getting to Breckenridge is easy, with regular shuttle services from Denver International Airport. Once in town, free buses and the walkable layout make it easy to explore without a car. Unique features like the annual Ullr-Fest - celebrating the Norse god of snow and the International Snow Sculpture Championships add a festive flair to the winter season. By Air

Breckenridge is best accessed via Denver International Airport (DEN), which is about a two-hour drive. Alternatively, Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE) is roughly 90 minutes away and offers another convenient option.

By Train

Although there is no direct train service to Breckenridge, travelers can take the Amtrak California Zephyr to Denver Union Station. From there, shuttles and car rentals are available for the scenic drive to Breckenridge.

By Car

Driving to Breckenridge is straightforward, with well-maintained roads leading to the resort. From Denver, take I-70 West to Frisco, then follow Highway 9 South to Breckenridge. Car rentals are available at both Denver and Eagle County airports.

By Bus

Shuttle services such as Colorado Mountain Express provide regular routes from Denver International Airport and Eagle County Regional Airport to Breckenridge. Additionally, the Summit Stage offers free bus service within Summit County, including Breckenridge.

By Private Transfer

Private transfer services are available from both Denver International Airport and Eagle County Regional Airport. These transfers provide a convenient and comfortable travel option to Breckenridge, offering door-to-door service.
