Nestled in the heart of the Eastern Sierra, Mammoth Mountain in Mammoth Lakes, CA, is a premier ski resort renowned for its stunning natural beauty and extensive skiing opportunities. The resort is conveniently located off U.S. Highway 395, about 3 hours south of Reno, NV, and 5 hours north of Los Angeles, CA, making it an accessible destination for both locals and tourists.
 

Mammoth Mountain has an impressive ski area with over 3,500 acres, which includes 23 lifts and 2 gondolas that make the 175 runs easily accessible. The resort has some awesome ski and snowboard terrain, riders of all levels are welcome to explore this resort. The elevation at the summit reaches 11,053 feet, offering incredible panoramic views and a long ski season that often extends from November through June.
 

Après-ski at Mammoth Mountain is vibrant and varied. The resorts village is lively and fun with a number of dining options ranging from casual eateries to fine dining restaurants. Nightlife is equally bustling, with several bars and clubs providing entertainment well into the night. 
 

Accessibility to Mammoth is facilitated by Mammoth Yosemite Airport, located just 20 minutes from the resort, with flights connecting from Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Denver. Additionally, there are regular bus services and shuttle options from nearby cities.
 

Unique features and areas of Mammoth Mountain include the Unbound Terrain Parks, which are consistently ranked among the best in North America, catering to freestyle riders with a variety of jumps, rails, and halfpipes. On top of all that Mammoth has some great family activities too, such as tubing.
