This vast playground is serviced by 38 lifts, including high-speed chairlifts and three gondolas, ensuring quick access to the mountain's diverse runs. 

 

With over 300 runs, Big Sky caters to all levels, from gentle slopes for beginners to challenging double black terrains for the more experienced. The terrain here is a snow enthusiast's dream, with an even mix of groomed cruisers, powder stashes and steep chutes. The Lone Peak Tram whisks skiers and snowboarders up 3,400 metres, where stunning 360-degree views and access to the some of the most exhilarating terrain in the country. Snowboarders and skiers alike will find paradise in Big Sky's varied and well-maintained runs, with plenty of off-piste opportunities for those seeking a challenge. 

 

When the day's skiing is finished, Big Sky's apres scene comes alive with an array of options. From small b&b's and lively bars to fine dining restaurants with locally sourced cuisine, there's something for every tastebuds. Nightlife, while more quieter than some larger resorts but it is intimate and inviting atmosphere is often centred around live music and warm firesides. 

 

Accessibility is simple with Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport offers regular flights from major cities, and a quick shuttle ride to the resort. Big Sky is full of features that make it unique including Lone Peak that offers visitors unique views of the area for both skiers and non-skiers. Big Sky is a more laid back, crowd-free experienced compared to other larger resorts giving you the sense of having the mountain almost to yourself! Wildlife is another unique aspect of Big Sky, as it is situated close to Yellowstone National Park and it's not uncommon to see elk, moose and even the occasional bison while visiting.
