By Air
The nearest airport is Matsumoto, roughly 90 minutes away by train. Most visitors, however, arrive via Tokyo's Haneda Airport, which offers a direct bus that will take roughly 3 hours to reach the resort.
By Train
8 Peaks Resort is accessible via the Oito line, with local trains connecting nearby cities. Many travellers prefer taking the bullet train to Nagano or Nagoya Stations and transferring to a bus or private car to the resort.
By Car
While not essential, having a car offers great flexibility for exploring surrounding resorts. If you plan to focus on 8 Peaks, local transport is sufficient, but a car is useful for venturing to nearby destinations.
By Bus
Direct buses connect the 8 Peaks to Tokyo, Osaka, and nearby cities like Nagano and Nagoya. Resort transfer services to destinations such as Madarao, Myoko Kogen, and Nozawa Onsen are also available.
