British Columbia's Big White Ski Resort is an excellent destination for families and fans of winter sports. Situated just 59 kilometres southeast of Kelowna, Big White is renowned for its reliable powder snow, averaging 750 centimetres annually, and its expansive terrain that caters to all skill levels.
 

With 16 lifts—including a gondola—and high-speed chairs, the resort provides easy access to more than 2,700 acres of skiable land. With 119 authorised routes, Big White offers a wide range of options for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels, from easy-to-intermediate groomed slopes for beginners to more challenging glades and bowls. The resort is also known for its terrain park, loved by freestyle fans, featuring rails, jumps and an Olympic sized half-pipe.
 

Après-ski at Big White is a vibrant affair, with a range of dining options, cozy bars, and lively nightlife to enjoy after a day on the slopes. With Over 20 cafes and restaurants in the pedestrian-friendly village providing a variety of food options, from little snacks to elaborate meals. Visitors can unwind with a craft beer at Snowshoe Sam's, or indulge in comfort food at The BullWheel Gastro Family Pub.
 

Accessibility to Big White is convenient, with Kelowna International Airport just an hour's drive away. Travellers from abroad and inside the country can easily reach their destination thanks to the resort's shuttle services from the airport. Additionally, ample parking is available for those driving from nearby regions.
 

The family-friendly environment, kid-focused events and programs, and the well-known "Snow Ghosts"—snow-covered trees that transform the resort into a mystical winter wonderland—are some of Big White's exceptional attractions.
