Deer Valley is regarded as a world-class ski resort in North America that promises to be an unforgettable winter holiday, located in the heart of Utah's Wasatch Range. Only a short drive from the historic town of Park City, Deer Valley is known for its perfectly groomed runs, world-class service and stunning mountain views. The resort is spread over six mountains with 2,026 acres of skiable terrain, that has 103 trails. Deer Valley offers a variety of skiing experiences from gentle cruisers to challenging bumps and jumps plus the incredible tree runs.

 

Deer Valley has an impressive network of 21 lifts which includes 13 high-speed quad chairlifts and 2 gondolas, ensuring that guests spend more time on the slopes and less time waiting in line. The resort's ski-only policy, (which prohibits snowboarders) adds to its exclusivity, making it a favourite among skiers who appreciate a more traditional alpine atmosphere. The terrain at Deer Valley is diverse with plenty of options for those who enjoy both groomed runs and off-piste adventures. For the the 2025-26 season, Deer Valley is planning to add an additional 3,700 acres of terrain, with a total of 37 chairlifts servicing an impressive 238 runs, making it one of the largest ski resorts in North America.

 

When it comes to apres-ski, Deer Valley doesn't disappoint. Deer Valley has plenty of dining options even for the pickiest of eaters including casual slope-side cafes to fine dining restaurants that use locally sourced ingredients.  The nightlife is more relaxed and sophisticated reflecting the resort's upscale vibe, with cosy lounges and bars perfect for winding down after a day on the mountain. 

 

Getting to Deer Valley is simple, with Salt Lake City International Airport roughly a 45 minute drive away for those flying in. By Air

The nearest airport is Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), just a 45-minute drive from Deer Valley. The airport offers numerous daily flights from major cities.

By Train

There is no direct train service to Deer Valley. Visitors can take the Amtrak to Salt Lake City and then use a rental car or shuttle service to reach the resort.

By Car

Deer Valley is easily accessible by car, with a scenic drive from Salt Lake City along I-80 East and US-40 East, taking around 45 minutes to reach the resort.

By Bus

The resort is accessible via shuttle services from Salt Lake City Airport and other local areas, offering a convenient and eco-friendly way to reach Deer Valley.

By Private Transfer
