Asahidake Onsen Hotel Deer Valley

The onsen facilities at Hotel Deer valley have an abundance of natural hot-spring water pulled directly from hot-spring source deep underground. The Italian tiled indoor onsen bath is Hotel Deer Valley’s star attraction, but an open-air bath and sauna at it’s sister hotel, Bear Monte, can be used free of charge. Guests can also book the paid private bath at Hotel Bear Monte. Hotel Deer Valley Restaurant offers a Japanese & Western-style buffet showcasing the best seasonal ingredients of Hokkaido in a warm and cosy atmosphere.

The lodge-style hotel built of wood is a perfect hideaway for those seeking an authentic getaway. All 26 rooms are non-smoking with comfortable beds, and have either a shower room or ensuite bathroom. The majority of rooms are Western-style, but there is also an option of Japanese-Western mixed rooms with a low bed and tatami area for guests to relax after a long day on the slopes. There is also a luxurious connecting room on the top floor, perfect for a group of friends or a big family.

Access to Asahikawa City takes approximately 1 hour by car, with Asahikawa Airport roughly 45 mins away. For those who want to explore Hokkaido more, Furano is 1 hour 20 minutes drive away and offers different terrain.
