Welcome to Zao Onsen! Zao Onsen is a famous onsen resort on Mt Zao which is north of Tokyo on the Main island of Honshu. After arriving at your accommodation, settle in and relax or take the afternoon to have a look around Zao Onsen. If you want to hit the slopes early the next day its a good chance to organise your rental gear.
Zao Onsen is the largest ski destination in the Tohoku region of Japan. Known for its endless runs, the resort consists of 41 lifts giving access to 25 runs. Access all the terrain across 14 ski areas with your Zao Onsen Lift Pass.
