Day by Day Itinerary

Arrive in Madarao Kogen. Mount Madarao is located between Nozawa Onsen and Myoko Kogen deep within the heart of the Japan Alps. After arriving at your accommodation, settle in and relax or take the afternoon to have a look around Madarao Kogen. If you want to hit the slopes early the next day its a good chance to organise your rental gear.
Madarao Resort stands at 1382 metres tall and has two ski areas; Madarao Mountain Resort and Tangram Ski Circus with 37 courses and 20 lifts in a unique bowl shape, all accessible on the Madarao All Mountain Pass. The resort features groomed and ungroomed runs, wave courses, tree runs and a free ride park and kids park. The resort receives an annual snowfall over 10 metres, with the longest course being 2.5kms and the steepest slope 36 degrees.
You can access to all 42 lifts including a few ropeways and a gondola using the Zao Onsen lift pass.
